Installing Your Breathable Mesh Crib Bumper:

1) Place the Mesh Crib Bumper inside the crib (make sure the sewn straps are on the inside surface of the Mesh Crib Bumper).

2) Center the Mesh Crib Bumper inside the crib.

3) On each bottom corner of the Mesh Crib Bumper, wrap the each strap around a corner post.

4) Slide the strap end through the top of the double bar buckle, in the middle hole of the double bar buckle.

5) Then, slide the strap end through the bottom of the double bar buckle, in the hole furthest away from the Mesh Crib Bumper.

6) Do not pull the bottom straps tight yet, leave an inch or two of the strap extending through the end of the double bar buckle.

7) After all 4 corners are connected, begin pulling on the 4 strap ends until the bottom of the Mesh Crib Bumper becomes taut.

8) After adjusting the Mesh Crib Bumper to make sure it is centered in the crib, you can pull on the strap ends to make the Mesh Crib Bumper tighter.

9) On each top corner of the Mesh Crib Bumper, wrap the each strap around a corner post.

10) Slide the strap end through the bottom of the double bar buckle, in the middle hole of the double bar buckle.

12) Then, slide the strap end through the top of the double bar buckle, in the hole furthest away from the Mesh Crib Bumper.

13) Do not pull the top straps tight yet, leave an inch or two of the strap extending through the end of the double bar buckle.

14) After all 4 corners are connected, begin pulling on the 4 strap ends until the bottom of the Mesh Crib Bumper become taut.

15) Press down hard on the bottom double bar buckles until the bottom edges of the Mesh Crib Bumper are in direct contact with the mattress surface.

16) To produce an even tighter contact between the Mesh Crib Bumper and the mattress surface, insert a high test cord through the inside hole of the double bar buckle (closest to the Mesh Crib Bumper) and tie each cord to the bottom of the crib in all 4 corners.

17) After adjusting the Mesh Crib Bumper to make sure it is properly positioned and centered in the crib, you can pull on the strap ends to make the Mesh Crib Bumper tighter.

18) When the Mesh Crib Bumper is properly installed, you can tighten the straps as tight as you would like producing ridged wall surfaces (200+ lb test).

19) Once the Mesh Crib Bumper is fully installed, if the straps ends are more than 6 inches log, it is suggested that you cut them to less than six inches in length.

20) When cutting the strap ends, mark each strap and the cut each strap where marked.

21) Use a lighter to melt frayed strap ends (Do Not Use Flame near Mesh Crib Bumper walls or while baby is in the crib).

22) When using a Mesh Crib Bumper in a crib with a drop down front, before lowering front rail section detach only the 4 front straps in the drop down front section.

23) After placing the baby back into the drop down front crib with a Mesh Crib Bumper installed reattach the 4 front straps when the drop down front is in the up position.

24) When washing the crib or bed linens, detach only the 4 front straps in the front section and reattach the 4 front straps when done (the Mesh Crib Bumper is washable).

25) Remove 4 corner rods before washing. Wash separately using cold water. Line dry. (fabric:nylon / edging:polyester / straps:polypropylene)

26) Using the Mesh Crib Bumper in a crib allows fresh air to circulate through the crib compartment and prevents carbon dioxide from pooling inside the crib chamber.

27) When the Mesh Crib Bumper is installed, you will be able to see your baby through the Mesh Crib Bumper walls from across the room.

28) When the Mesh Crib Bumper is installed, your baby will be able to see through the Mesh Crib Bumper walls instead of only looking at the ceiling and a mobile hanging over the crib.
